About Scott
Owner / Chiropractor

I am a healer, and I assess the spine for subluxations that cause nerve interference which stops the body’s natural healing processes. I use neurology based chiropractic adjustments to remove the subluxations in the skeletal system so that the body’s natural healing power contained in the nervous system can express itself fully. I help my patients achieve their optimal health potential through chiropractic and healthy lifestyle choices such as; whole food nutrition, supplements, regular exercise, proper rest and positive thinking.

My Story
“Here is a lift for your shoe. There is nothing more I can do for you.”
Those were the words I heard from an orthopedic surgeon when, as a 12-year-old boy, I was diagnosed with scoliosis. I had been struggling with severe muscle spasms and back pain, but there were no real answers for how to improve my symptoms. Because my scoliosis was not advanced enough to require surgery, I was simply given a prescription for a lift to be built into my left shoe.
After that appointment, I told my mom about the diagnosis, and she scheduled an appointment for me with our neighbor, Dr. Paul Gullickson.
Dr. Gullickson had previously helped my mom after she developed severe neck pain, numbness, and tingling down her left arm following a surgical procedure. The symptoms had become so severe that they affected her ability to care for our family. A sister in law encouraged her to try chiropractic care after medical treatments failed to relieve the pain. At first, she was hesitant because of the high impact chiropractic techniques she had heard about, but after finding no relief elsewhere, she finally made the appointment. After her first gentle adjustment with Dr. Gullickson, she began noticing improvement, and within weeks she was pain free.
With Dr. Paul’s help, my muscle spasms and back pain also began to improve. Before long, I was back to doing the things I loved, including soccer, football, alpine skiing, and mountain biking. I loved going to see Dr. Gullickson because of how I felt after each adjustment. I moved easier, had no pain, and could fully enjoy being active again.
I still have scoliosis today, but I remain pain free and continue to maintain my health with regular chiropractic care. I am truly a lifelong chiropractic patient.
That experience, combined with a summer internship at my hometown hospital, inspired me to pursue a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree and dedicate my life to helping others experience the same kind of healing and hope that I did.
